The sole purpose of a God Appointment Break — or GAB — gathering is to make Jesus known in our world through God Appointments. The GAB study guide in the back of the book provides a simple outline to help you host your own gatherings.

GAB gatherings are a wonderful way to build bridges within the church, in small groups and between friends. These gatherings create an environment for us to connect through relationships as we become aware of God’s active presence in our lives.

Remember the words of Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Jesus released Holy Spirit as a Counselor to communicate with us — not because He needs something from us, but because He gave His life for us. His desire to love through us fulfills our original created image. His heart is to find a dwelling place in each of us through Holy Spirit.
